About Us

Born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania, JoAnne
is the fourth of nine children. Her lifelong love for animals
deepened when her dog, Cliff, not only became a part of
her family, but also a part of her heart.

Cliff's battle with cancer allowed JoAnne to view life with a
whole new perspective. Whether it was experimenting
with the newest, cutting-edge medical treatments or
utilizing alternative therapies such as acupuncture and
Reiki, JoAnne's goal was to find something that would not
only extend Cliff's life, but also to improve the quality of his
days.

JoAnne's goal in writing this book is to bring awareness
to the high rate of cancer in our animal companions, while
offering support and guidance to others facing a similar
journey, and to raise money for cancer research.
